PhotoGraphic's Peter Dentener used his photography extensively
in his [web site design business],
for relaxation and in his role as volunteer for a range of organisations. A
serious amateur photographer, he liked to take casual or location shots, and
therefore has not had the need to set up a studio.
Background
Peter's enthusiasm for photography dates back to his teens when, kitted out with a simple fixed lens camera and only minor exposure control, he started to explore his environment. When his point-and-shoot camera broke down, he moved up to a Pentax SP1000, an excellent learners camera in the 1970s which has since become a classic. His current gear is mainly Canon-based, both film and digital, and supported by a range of lenses and accessories. Peter uses a range of software to manipulate his digital images for composition, exposure and colour, and to catalogue his vast collection.Peter's photographic skills are best summarised by this reference:
"..Peter's photography of local and overseas locations and scenes documents and captures the moment. Peter is self-taught, and has a good grasp of printed and digital photography and image manipulation. He always aims for the highest quality of photography and his enthusiasm for photography is clear when he shares his experience in printed and digital photography with other photographers".
